A6 is a coastal region in southern Portugal, famous for its dramatic limestone cliffs and golden sea caves. The Mediterranean climate brings hot, dry summers, perfect for hiking the Seven Hanging Valleys trail (8.7 miles) along the rugged coastline, and mild, rainy winters ideal for surfing the Atlantic swells at Praia da Marinha. From June to September, you can kayak into the Benagil sea cave, while November to March offers cheaper stays and fewer crowds for exploring the caves on foot.
